Pop-Country Duo, Westurnt, are no strangers to six strings.

After years of experimenting, and developing new sounds, Westurnt have finally found a sonic wheelhouse to call their own. Their blend of contemporary R&B, Indie Rock, and Country music comes at no compromise. This Pop-Country duo has a dynamic range of songwriting capabilities, production techniques and mix choices that is reminiscent of the works of Old Dominion, Sam Hunt, and Chris Lane - all while keeping the high energy of current EDM and Pop acts. 

Their new musical direction showcased on ‘In Due Time’ is a glimpse at what the future sounds will become. The Westurnt sound revolves around a very clear and modern sounding lead vocal arrangement, accompanied by soothing harmonies and modern production choices borrowed from the R&B and Pop world. Acoustic guitar drives the instrumental accompaniment, with steel slide guitar floating through the ambient space created by impactful electric guitars. You can also hear the warm addition of a Rhodes MKII, upright piano, banjo and classic bass guitar tones. 

With their debut vinyl release scheduled for Spring, as well as multiple digital single releases already set for the first half of 2020, Westurnt are on course for an incredible summer festival season.
